BRISTOL, Tenn. –
The Lees-McRae women's volleyball team, under head coach Abigail King, will make its third Conference Carolinas postseason tournament appearance in the previous four years when it battles No. 4 Erskine in the first round on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Bristol, Tennessee. The Bobcats entered as the No. 5 seed in last year's postseason tournament, before seeing their season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The winner of Saturday's 2 p.m. first round contest will advance to the second round and will face No. 3 King at 5 p.m. on Saturday. The winner of the #3-#4-#5 first and second round action will then travel to No. 2 UNC Pembroke in a quarterfinal match on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 7 p.m.

Scouting the Bobcats…The Bobcats closed out the regular season with a 9-16 overall record (7-11 in conference play), including a four-set win over Erskine on Oct. 30, to clinch the No. 5 seed in the West Region. Senior Katy Torgerson is fourth in the league with 104 total blocks this season.
