PEMBROKE, N.C. –
Olivia Ney finished with a team-high 11 kills to go along with a match-high five block assists, but it was not enough as UNC Pembroke rallied past the visiting Bobcats in four sets to clinch the conference win this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Hailey Gilreath chipped in eight kills and four block assists, while Carlee Allbaugh and Lauren Xayavong added 23 assists and 14 digs respectively.
- Natasha Colon Moreno and Kaden Hill also finished with six kills each.
- The Braves held off a late run by the Bobcats in the first set to clinch a 25-17 win.
- Lees-McRae maintained a sizeable lead for the majority of the second set and used a kill by Moreno and a pair of aces by Allbaugh to clinch a 25-20 win in set two.
- UNC Pembroke used a 13-1 run in the third set to shift momentum and scored the final six points to clinch the frame, 25-11.
- The Braves closed out the conference win with a 26-24 win in set four.
- Lees-McRae finished with a 9-6 advantage in blocks, while UNC Pembroke finished with a 46-39 edge in kills.
FOR THE FOES:
- Brianna Warren and Shannon Skryd each finished 11 kills, with Skryd adding six service aces.
- Katie Pressley chipped in 30 assists and eight digs.
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will close out their regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 10 as they host North Greenville in a 7 p.m. contest.
