BANNER ELK, N.C. – Four Bobcats scored in double figures, led by
MaKayla Smith with 16 points, but it was not enough as visiting Mount Olive maintained a lead throughout most of the contest leading to the 66-61 victory over the host Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Smith finished 10 of 12 from the charity stripe to go along with six rebounds.
- Destiny Johnson added 15 points on seven of 12 shooting to go along with seven rebounds and four assists
- Jala Holloman scored 12 points on five of 14 shooting, with Arriana Lizarraga dropping 11 points with five rebounds
- Mount Olive outscored Lees-McRae 23-13 in the first quarter
- The Trojans maintained their lead to 40-28 at the half
- Lees-McRae trimmed the deficit to 3 points late in the fourth quarter, but could not manage to hold the lead
FOR THE FOES:
- Azariah Fields recorded a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds, while also recording six assists
- Ivanda Hudjakova put up 13 points where she was 6-7 behind the free throw line

The Bobcats will look to come back after this loss where they travel to Barton on December 18
