FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. - Emmanuel finished with a 52-39 advantage in kills and a 10-2 edge in service aces to clinch the four-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Michael Marsans finished with a team-high nine kills to go along with seven digs and two blocks.
- M.J. Doyle chipped in eight kills, while Max Kuntz and Ace Backer each finished with five kills.
- Riley Chapman tallied 33 assists and Bradley Peters posted a team-high 10 digs.
- Emmanuel sprinted out of the gates by scoring 11 of the first 13 points and closed the first set on a 10-3 run to clinch a 25-11 victory in set one.
- The Bobcats responded with a second set run to take a 19-16 lead on an attacking error by the Lions, but Emmanuel shifted momentum by scoring the final two points to win the second frame, 25-22.
- The Lions looked to be in control of the third set, holding a 23-17 lead, but Lees-McRae rallied using a 10-2 run to win the third set, 27-25. Four Bobcats registered a kill during the run.
- Emmanuel clinched the conference win with a 25-17 victory in the final set.
FOR THE FOES:
- Don Thompson posted a double-double with 18 kills and 11 digs to pace the Lions.
- Aleksa Lakic chipped in 15 digs, while Henrik Westhoff tallied 42 digs.
