TIGERVILLE, S.C. – North Greenville held a 44-22 advantage in kills and a 64-37 edge in digs en route to clinching a straight-set victory over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Caitlyn Smirne finished with seven kills and an ace to lead the Bobcats.
- Olivia Ney chipped in five kills and three aces, while Carlee Allbaugh added 18 set assists.
- Lauren Xayavong tallied double-digit digs for the seventh-consecutive game with 13 this afternoon.
- Both teams traded runs early in the first set, with Lees-McRae's run trimming the deficit to 20-17, until the Crusaders scored five of the final six points to clinch a 25-18 win in set one.
- North Greenville opened the second frame on a 14-2 run and held off a late 6-1 run by the Bobcats to clinch the second set, 25-14.
- The Crusaders sprinted out of the gates in the third set by winning 21 of the first 29 points to clinch the conference victory with a 25-13 win in set three.
- Lees-McRae finished with a slim 5-4 edge in service aces and 5-3 advantage in blocks.
FOR THE FOES:
- Erin Allen and Abigail Durham both posted double-digit kills to lead to Crusaders.
- Abby Pyke chipped in 25 set assists, while Whitley Kahler added 18 digs.
