WILSON, N.C. – The Lees-McRae women's tennis team won a pair of doubles matches and both
Sandy Allen and
Mei Hiramatsu won their singles competitions, but it was not enough as host Barton claimed a 4-3 victory in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

RECORDS: Barton (5-0/2-0), Lees-McRae (2-2/1-1)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Allen teamed up with Nursharneem Shamsuddin to win the #1 doubles match (6-0), while Zeynep Cakirer and Hiramatsu won the #2 doubles competition with a score of 6-3
- Allen also posted a victory in the #1 singles match (6-4, 6-3).
- Hiramatsu rallied to win the #4 singles competition with a 0-6, 6-3, 7-5 victory.
