BANNER ELK, N.C. – Barton tallied 13 first-half goals and limited the host Bobcats to nine shots-on-goal en route to claiming a 19-2 victory in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sydney Floyd scored both goals for the Bobcats, with assists going to Shannan Korovich and Abigail Brucks.
- Barton sprinted out of the gates with three goals in the first five minutes of action and extended the lead to 9-0 before Lees-McRae scored their first goal with just under 10 minutes remaining in the first half.
- The Bulldogs scored the next nine goals, including four before the halftime whistle, to clinch the conference victory.
- Brucks also finished with 10 saves in net for the Bobcats.
- Barton held a 29-9 edge in shots-on-goal and won 12 of 22 total draw controls.
FOR THE FOES:
- Angelina Scarpa and Kayli Ashenfelter both tallied six goals to pace Barton.
- Katherine Mattena and Felicity Borge shared time in net for the Bulldogs, tallying seven saves.
