BANNER ELK, N.C. – Mount Olive scored just 13 seconds before the halftime whistle and outshot the host Bobcats 15-12 en route to claiming a 1-0 victory in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae nearly opened the scoring just over seven minutes into the contest as Luis Jimenez had a scoring opportunity that was saved.
- Mount Olive took advantage of a set-piece with 13 seconds remaining in the first half by scoring a one-timer on a scrum in front of the goal that developed after the free-kick was taken.
- The Bobcats had their best scoring chance in the 81st minute as a shot from just inside the six-yard box just missed the frame.
- The Trojans held the hosts in check for the final 10 minutes to escape with the victory.
- Anton Sundstrom finished with four saves for the Bobcats.
- Mount Olive finished with a slim 5-4 edge in shots-on-goal and finished with a game-high three corner kicks.
