BANNER ELK, N.C. – Barton finished with a 41-24 advantage in kills and a .337 hitting percentage to claim a straight-sets win over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Max Kuntz finished with nine kills and three digs to pace the Bobcats.
- Steven Nalls chipped in a game-high 13 digs, while Riley Chapman added 14 set assists.
- Barton opened with a 13-5 run in the first set to grab the early momentum and used a final kill to clinch a 25-15 win in set one.
- The Bobcats responded with a quick 11-6 run in the second frame, but the Bulldogs scored 19 of the final 27 points to claim a 25-19 win in set two.
- Lees-McRae rallied in the third stanza to overcome being down 8-3 early and used a 6-0 run to take a 21-19 lead.
- Barton scored six of the next eight points to close out the conference win.
- The Bulldogs held a 7-2 edge in blocks and a 5-1 advantage in service aces, while the Bobcats maintained a slim 29-28 edge in digs.
FOR THE FOES:
- Adrian Iglesias and Nathan Chaparro finished with 15 and 12 kills respectively to pace the Bulldogs.
- Moses Kresch finished with a game-high 33 set assists.
