Laura Ocampo all won their respective singles matches to lead the Lees-McRae women's tennis team to a 4-3 victory over visiting Belmont Abbey in the Conference Carolinas action this evening. Tonight's match marks the first time that Lees-McRae has defeated the Crusaders since the 2015 season.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Allen claimed a 6-4, 6-3 victory in the #1 singles match and teamed up with Shamsuddin to win the #1 doubles match with a 7-6 (7-3 tiebreaker) score.
- Shamsuddin also won the #3 singles match with a 6-3, 5-7, 6-2 score, while Hiramatsu clinched the match with a 7-5, 6-2 victory in the #4 singles competition.
- Ocampo also posted a 6-4, 6-7, 6-2 win in the #5 singles match.
