Stephon Davis scored with just 49 seconds left in double overtime off an assist by
Zachary Aversano to lift the Lees-McRae men's soccer team to a thrilling 1-0 victory over King in the regular-season finale.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae nearly opened the scoring in the sixth minute as a goal off a header by Aversano was waved off by the official.
- The Bobcats held a 9-4 edge in shots in the first half but failed to break through as the score remained 0-0 at halftime.
- Both teams had multiple scoring chances in the second half, including shots-on-goal for Eduardo Olavide, Kevan Wambugu, and Nate Phillips, but both defenses held firm to force an extra session.
- King had a pair of scoring opportunities in the first overtime period with Anton Sundstrom making timely saves.
- After over nine minutes had gone by in the second overtime, Aversano played a ball over the Tornado defense that found the foot of Davis who buried his first goal of the season to clinch the conference victory.
- Sundstrom finished with four saves in goal for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae held a 21-13 edge in shots and a 9-4 advantage in shots-on-goal.

- Dalton Gammon finished with a game-high eight saves in net for the Tornado.
