FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga. –
Ivy Cagno scored her first goal as a Bobcat in the first half, while
Mallory Roughton tallied her third solo shutout of the season, to lift the Lees-McRae women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over host Emmanuel to clinch the team's third consecutive win.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- After a slow start to the contest, Lees-McRae's offensive grabbed momentum with four shots and four corners in a 10-minute span.
- The Bobcats broke the deadlock in the 31st minute as Cagno collected the ball off a pass from Haley Lowman in front of the frame and buried her first goal as a Bobcat.
- Lees-McRae had two final scoring chances by Gen Porsche and Sierra Shuey late in the first half but timely saves held the score at 1-0.
- Emmanuel outshot the Bobcats 4-1 in the second half, including their best scoring chance in the 70th minute, but a Roughton save helped give Lees-McRae the conference win.
- Roughton needed to only make two saves to earn the shutout.
- The Bobcats held a slim 8-6 edge in shots and a 7-3 advantage in shots-on-goal.
FOR THE FOES:
- Julia Styrmisdottir and Allie Windom combined to make six saves for the Lions.
