BANNER ELK, N.C. – Five players scored in double figures, led by
Timon Jones with a career-high 18 points, as the Lees-McRae men's basketball team won their third consecutive game and reached the century mark for the first time this season with a 103-74 home victory over visiting North Greenville in the Conference Carolinas action this evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Jones shot 8 of 14 from the floor to lead the Bobcats in scoring, while also chipping in three assists.
- Malik McConnell chipped in 17 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals, while Jamarius Hairston added 14 points and three rebounds.
- London England and Follie Bogan tallied 13 and 11 points respectively, with Cale Harris finishing with a career-high 14 rebounds.
- Both teams traded points early in the contest until the Bobcats used a 20-6 run to shift momentum and a pair of late free throws by Jaylin Stewart to claim a 45-28 halftime lead.
- After Jones opened the second half with an 8-0 run by himself in the first 50 seconds, Lees-McRae posted a lead over 20 points for the remainder of the contest.
- The Bobcats held a 17-10 edge in points off turnovers, 48-18 advantage in bench production, and outscored the Crusaders 54-34 in points in the paint.
FOR THE FOES:
- Kameron Hobbs led all scores with 28 points and 10 rebounds, while Draylan Burton finished with 14 points and five assists.
