Timon Jones and
Jaylin Stewart both scored 17 points, while
Malik McConnell and
Sidney Dollar also scored in double figures, but it was not enough as visiting Southern Wesleyan held the Bobcats under 35 percent shooting in the contest en route to clinching the 86-67 conference victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Jones shot 5 of 8 from distance, while Stewart was 4 of 9 from the field and 9 of 11 from the charity stripe to pace the Bobcats in scoring.
- McConnell added 14 points and seven rebounds, while Dollar finished with 11 points, five rebounds and two assists.
- Both teams traded points early in the first half until the Warriors used a 20-10 run in the middle portion of the frame to steal momentum.
- Southern Wesleyan used an old-fashion three-point play to hold a 45-34 lead at intermission.
- After the Warriors pushed the lead to 66-46 with 11:28 remaining in the contest, Lees-McRae chipped away at the deficit and cut the lead to 72-62 with 6:11 left in the contest.
- Southern Wesleyan closed the contest on a 14-5 run to clinch the conference win.
- Lees-McRae held a 23-4 edge in fast break points, but were outscored 30-22 in bench production.
FOR THE FOES:
- Ta'Jay Dunlap finished with a game-high 30 points to pace the Warriors, while Demarcus Addie chipped in 21 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
