CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Lees-McRae women's cross country traveled to the campus of Queens University of Charlotte this afternoon where the Bobcats placed sixth overall in the Women's 5K Blue Meet.
Deanna Betzer led Lees-McRae with a third-place finish with her second time under 19 minutes this season.

LOCATION: McAlpine Creek Park -- Charlotte, North Carolina
NOTABLES:
- Betzer paced the Bobcats as she clocked in with a time of 18:59.6 to finish third overall out of 199 runners in today's race. Betzer now holds the top two times in program history and is the only Bobcat to record times under 19 minutes.
- Campbell Dille followed Betzer in a time of 19:53.9, which is now the 14th fastest in program history
- Maddie Quinn ran a time of 21:09.7 in today's meet and placed 40th individually with Kaitlyn Rowe registering a time of 22:09.0.
- Paiden Dula rounded out the scoring times for the Bobcats with a time of 24:20.5 and placed 122nd this afternoon.
- As a team, Lees-McRae finished in sixth place with a team score of 200 points as Ave Maria earned the team title with 91 points. Julie Webb collected the individual title in a time of 17:48.4.
- The Bobcats finished first among Conference Carolinas member schools with Mount Olive placing ninth overall in today's meet.
