GREENVILLE, S.C. – After breaking the school record in the 6K distance at App State's Firetower Project Run, Lees-McRae women's cross country Sophomore
Megan Knapp was named the Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Week.
Knapp, a Seville, Ohio native, finished the course in a time of 22:16.6 and placed 19th at the Firetower Project Run. Knapp was also named the Conference Carolinas WXC Athlete of the Week on September 22.
Lees-McRae cross country heads to Huntsville, Alabama for the University of Alabama Huntsville XC Invite on Saturday, October 11 at 9 a.m.
