Destiny Johnson finished with a game-high 15 points, while
Jala Holloman added eight points and four rebounds, but that was not enough as Mount Olive used a strong second quarter to clinch the 66-36 win over the visiting Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas action this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Johnson was 3 of 3 behind the charity stripe and 6 of 11 from the field to pace the Bobcats in scoring.
- Holloman shot 2 of 7 from distance, while MaKayla Smith also chipped in six points, three assists, and three steals.
- Both teams traded points early until a three-point field goal by Holloman cut the deficit to 16-11 after the first 10 minutes of action.
- Mount Olive outscored the Bobcats 22-12 in the second stanza to hold a 38-23 edge at halftime.
- The Trojans held Lees-McRae to only 13 points in the second half to clinch the conference win.
- The Trojans outscored Lees-McRae 22-3 in points off the bench.
- Mount Olive also outscored the Bobcats 34-14 in points in the paint.
FOR THE FOES:
- The Trojans had four players in double figures, led by Ayonna Cotton's 14-point performance.
- Cotton was also 4 of 7 from beyond the arc.
