Lander surges past Men’s Tennis in non-conference match, 7-0

GREENWOOD, S.C. – Lander won all three of the doubles matches to clinch the doubles point and swept the Bobcats in the singles competition en route to a 7-0 win over the visiting Bobcats in the non-conference match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The three doubles teams of Max Borisov/Landon Church, Hanqing Wang/Sam Jones, and Andy Tallafigo/Ezequiel Arce all battled in their respective doubles matches, before ultimately falling short.
• Wang also posted a 7-6 win in the first set of his #1 singles match, before stumbling in the third-set tiebreaker.

 
UP NEXT:
The Bobcats will travel to Jefferson City, Tennessee on Saturday to compete in a non-conference match against Carson-Newman at 11 a.m.
