Max Borisov clinched a victory in the #3 singles match, but it was not enough as host nationally-ranked No. 33 Francis Marion won five singles matches and all three doubles matches en route to clinching a 6-1 win over the Bobcats in the Conference Carolinas match this afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Borisov won the #3 singles match by a 6-3, 6-2 score.
- Ezequiel Arce battled in his #5 singles match and nearly clinched a win in the first set, before ultimately falling short to his rival from Francis Marion.
- The doubles team of Hanqing Wang and Borisov battled in their #1 doubles match, before also ultimately falling short to their rivals on the Patriots.
