Fletcher Dyson found the back of the net in the 84
th minute as the Lees-McRae men's soccer team rallied past Emmanuel (Ga.) by a final of 2-1.
Harrison Watts knotted the match at one goal after a solid cross by
Tamino Brown.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The two sides played 45 minutes of scoreless action in the first half as the Bobcats held the majority of opportunities in the opening period.
- Emmanuel got on the board in the 47th minute of play after a poor clearance by Joshua Garvilla to give the Lions the one goal lead.
- Lees-McRae collected the momentum back in its favor with shots on goal by Watts and Tamino Brown before Brown found the head of Watts in the 76th minute to knot the contest at one goal.
- Dyson collected the game-winner in the 84th minute after the Bobcats went down a man in the 82nd minute. The Bobcats held on for the victory for their first conference win of the 2022 season.
- Watts led Lees-McRae with three shots on goal off the bench as Ryan Aliam, Balint Pavel, Landon Robbins joined Dyson and Brown with one shot on goal apiece.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Rodrigo De La Terga hauled in six saves for Emmanuel as Emilio Rangel collected the lone goal for the Lions.
