CHARLOTTE, N.C. –
Sebastian Heer tallied a team-high eight kills and a hitting percentage of .429 as Lees-McRae men's volleyball fell in three sets to Queens (N.C.) on Wednesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats had the 23-22 lead in the first set off an attack error by Queens' Ananias Hayes. The Royals responded with three straight points to earn the opening set at 25-23. Lees-McRae recorded 11 kills on 30 total attacks in the opening set to Queens' eight.
- Queens used a four-point run to start the second set, but the Bobcats rallied with four points of their own capped by a service ace via Michael Marsans. The Royals closed the set with a three-point run to earn the 25-15 set win.
- Bradley Peters registered a service ace to give the Bobcats the 2-0 lead, but Queens answered with four points of their own and took the third and final set by a final of 25-19.
- Heer paced the Bobcats with eight kills and a hitting percentage of .429. Thomas Couch followed with five kills in the three sets and Marsans added three kills on 17 total attacks and eight digs in the match. Peters had 19 assists and six digs for the Bobcats also.
- Lees-McRae finished the match with 22 total kills and a hitting percentage of .027.
FOR THE ROYALS:
- Daniel Leitao recorded a match-high 11 kills for Queens in the sweep and Hayes followed with seven.
- Queens had a hitting percentage of .195 with Brian Schwob registering a .500 hitting percentage on Wednesday night.
