BANNER ELK, N.C. – UVA Wise earned the three-set victory over Lees-McRae women's volleyball on Tuesday evening.
Nina Vallesi led the Bobcats with eight kills and added six digs and two service aces to her season totals.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Cavaliers picked up the win with a .267 hitting percentage and limited the Bobcats to a .045 hitting percentage.
- Sydney Stigler followed Vallesi with six kills and two digs in two sets played for Lees-McRae. Nicole Osborned added three kills, six digs, and one block.
- Lauren Xayavong had a team-high 14 digs and Madison Goins distributed 22 assists and collected five digs for the Bobcats.
FOR THE CAVALIERS:
- Kaylee Scarce led the UVA Wise with 11 kills and added a double-double with 14 digs. Morgan Blevins joined Scarce in double figures with 10 kills on a .474 hitting percentage.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae is back in Conference Carolinas play on Wednesday, Oct. 25 when the Bobcats head to Belmont, North Carolina for a clash with Belmont Abbey. The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
