Haile Desmarais made a match-high six saves in goal for the Bobcats as Lees-McRae women's soccer played to a scoreless draw in Conference Carolinas action at Converse on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae had 11 total shots in the second half with three being on target, but Converse's goalkeeper kept the match scoreless for 90 minutes. The Bobcats held the advantage in corner kicks at 3-1, but Converse held the slight advantage in possession with 58% of total possession in today's contest.
- Desmarais collected her first shutout of the season for the Bobcats in goal with six saves in 90 minutes of action.
- Taylor Barrineau, Hannah Davies, and Haley Lowman had the shots on goal for Lees-McRae.
- Averee Andrews, Cami Belin, Sarah Jones, and Barrineau played the full 90 minutes of the contest.
FOR THE VALKYRIES:
- Raegan Cash, Jasmine Hernandez, Elsa Jove, Cailey Owens, and Giulia Rodrigues, and Kiersten Schrawyer each recorded a shot on goal for Converse in the match.
- Allie Nepomuceno kept the clean sheet for the Valkyries with three stops in goal.

Lees-McRae women's soccer hosts Belmont Abbey on Wednesday, Oct. 11 at 4:30 p.m. on Tate Field. The match will be a Pink Out with representatives from the High Country Breast Cancer Foundation joining the Bobcats in Banner Elk.
