MOUNT OLIVE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer dropped their first round matchup of the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Championship at Mount Olive 1-0 on Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Maddie Campo made her first of six saves on the day at the 23rd minute mark after a shot on target by Addison Dangler. Campo collected her second stop of the contest in the 30th minute off a shot from Malia Acevedo.
- The Trojans continued with three more opportunities on goal starting in the 49th, 55th, and 60th minutes. Samantha Hamrick was able to give UMO the go-ahead goal in the 64th minute off a corner kick and the Bobcats were unable to earn a shot on goal in the match.
- UMO held the 14-3 shots advantage and 7-0 shots on goal margin. The Trojans also had five corners to the Bobcats' one on the day.
- Averee Andrews, Cami Belin, Sarah Jones, and Kat Stiles along with Campo played the full 90 minutes for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE TROJANS:
- Hamrick had the lone goal on the day for Mount Olive. Dangler and Tianna Hill had two shots on target for the Trojans.
