Michael Marsans recorded his third straight game with double-digit kills as he had 11 kills in Lees-McRae men's volleyball's 3-0 Conference Carolinas win against Erskine.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Marsans paced the Bobcats with 11 kills on the night and added seven digs and one service ace in tonight's victory. Austin Beaird and M.J. Doyle followed with nine kills apiece and Doyle tallied a match-high four service aces. Ace Backer continued his strong season with eight kills and zero errors for the Bobcats.
- Bradley Peters, the reigning Conference Carolinas Specialist of the Week, distributed 32 assists on the evening and added one ace to his season totals.
- The first set proved vital for Lees-McRae as the Bobcats opened this evening with five straight points in their conference opener. Erskine rallied to take the 11-10 advantage, but Marsans quickly knotted the set at 11 apiece. The Bobcats held off a set point from the Flying Fleet at 26-25 and Lees-McRae captured the opening set at 28-26 after a kill via Backer.
- In the second set, Lees-McRae went a 3-0 scoring run at 21-17 and collected the two-set advantage after another kill by Backer to end the set at 25-23.
- Lees-McRae cruised in the third set as the Bobcats had a 5-0 run at 15-6 and added another five consecutive points at 21-8. The Bobcats recorded the set victory with a block assist from Peters and Sebastian Heer at 25-12.
- The Bobcats had a hitting percentage of .286 and held the Flying Fleet to a clip of .169. Lees-McRae had 41 kills on 91 total attempts and added nine service aces in tonight's win.
FOR THE FLYING FLEET:
- Jason Sall was the lone hitter for Erskine with double-digit kills as he registered 10 kills on a hitting percentage of .214. Wiktor Ankurowski had a match-high hitting percentage of .571.
