Aurora Roberts were all recognized prior to Saturday's women's basketball matchup with Lees-McRae and Belmont Abbey.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Prior to the game getting underway, six Bobcats were celebrated on the McNair & Debi Tornow for their achievements on the court and in the classroom at Lees-McRae.
- Belmont Abbey took the opening quarter 27-6 and earned the 73-46 victory over the Bobcats in Conference Carolinas play.
- Sandra Mason, a freshman from Chesapeake, Virginia, led the Bobcats in the scoring column with 16 points.
- Leath and Lizarraga each tallied eight points on their senior day and Jasonnia Burleson had two assists for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE CRUSADERS:
- Abigail Crain paced Belmont Abbey with 18 points and collected five rebounds. Cate Schieber followed with 14 for the Crusaders.
- Catherine Hendershott and Taylor Shelley joined their fellow teammates in double figures with 10 points each and Peyton Nation hauled in a game-high 10 rebounds.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae women's basketball concludes the 2022-23 season with a home game against North Greenville on Wednesday, Feb. 22. The contest is slated for a 5 p.m. start.
