Facundo Perlov earned match victories in their respective singles matches on Thursday, but Lenoir-Rhyne picked up the 4-3 match victory with the crucial doubles sweep.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats fell in the three doubles match to start the day with Ezequiel Arce and Perlov falling 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
- Lees-McRae stormed back to take the first three singles positions as Borisov, Hlavacek, and Perlov all won in straight sets.
- Sam Jones fell in a third-set tiebreaker after Lenoir-Rhyne's Patrik Alevstrand evened the match at one set apiece with 6-2 decision in the second set.
- Andy Tallafigo dropped a tough three-set match to Lenoir-Rhyne's Joel Hemmings after retiring in the third-set tiebreak.
