BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis earned a significant 4-3 victory over No. 42 Francis Marion on Friday night in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Patriots earned the doubles point with victories on courts No. 2 and 3. Max Borisov and Martin Hlavacek claimed the 6-2 decision at No. 1 doubles for the Bobcats.
- Borisov earned the 6-3, 3-6, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles for the Bobcats and Facundo Perlov claimed the straight-set victory on No. 2 singles at 6-4, 7-6 (4).
- Hlavacek continued the winning for Lees-McRae in straight sets with the 6-3, 6-2 win over Francis Marion's Harri Lloyd-Evans and Sam Jones clinched the match for the Bobcats with the 6-0, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
