Haley Donovan tallied four goals and
Shannan Korovich,
Genesis Lutsky, and
Hailey Smith each had two goals apiece as Lees-McRae women's lacrosse fell to Emmanuel, 20-11, on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Donovan contributed five draw controls, two ground balls, and two caused in today's effort. Korovich followed with three total points (two goals, one assist) and two draw controls.
- Aviva Beringhause made 13 stops in goal for Lees-McRae.
- Emmanuel recorded the first goals in the opening quarter before Donovan scored with 3:52 left in the first. The Lions took the quarter 5-2 and went into the halftime break up 9-6 after Hailey Smith found the back of the net with 32 seconds left in the first half.
- The Lions finished the contest with three consecutive goals in the fourth and took the Conference Carolinas contest by a final of 20-11.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Justine Dorelas scored a game-high nine goals for Emmanuel and Meghan Jennings and Anna Gill each recorded four goals in the win.
UP NEXT:
Lees-McRae returns to Banner Elk on Friday, April 21 for their home finale against Southern Wesleyan. The contest is scheduled for a 5 p.m. start.
