BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lynn handed Lees-McRae men's soccer a 4-0 defeat on Wednesday afternoon on Tate Field.
Sean Green had five saves in goal for the Bobcats.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sean Green held strong in net for the Bobcats through the first 25 minutes as he stopped a penalty kick from Lynn's Fabian Vyhnalek. Lynn got on the board with a goal in the 27th minute via Max Lambertz.
- The Fighting Knights added another tally in the 43rd minute from Luis Kiefer and headed into the halftime break up 2-0.
- Lynn tallied two more goals early in the second half as they held the advantage in shots on goal, 8-4, and shots, 11-8.
- Fletcher Dyson, Jesper Jonsson, Landon Robbins, and Harrison Watts all had one shot on goal for Lees-McRae.
FOR THE FIGHTING KNIGHTS:
- Kiefer scored a brace for Lynn and collected three shots on goal in 57 minutes of action. Lambertz added the first goal for Lynn.
- Luca Clavero, Henry Haferkorn, Marco Costa, and Ricardo Packer Jr. all had assists in the match.

Lees-McRae opens up Conference Carolinas play on Saturday, Sept. 9 with Mount Olive. The kickoff from Tate Field is scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
