Owen Smith and
Harrison Watts scored goals in the first 13 minutes of today's contest as Lees-McRae men's soccer collected the 2-0 victory over Erskine on Tuesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Watts got the Bobcats on the board with a goal in the fourth minute after a long ball from Fletcher Dyson.
- Lees-McRae recorded its second goal of the day 10 minutes later on a marker from O. Smith. Nils Schulze tallied the assist for the Bobcats.
- The Bobcats controlled the pace throughout today's contest and held the 2-0 advantage after the first 45 minutes.
- Landon Robbins had a quality chance in the 46th minute, but Erskine's goalkeeper Beckham Boomershine made the save.
- The Bobcats earned the 2-0 victory over Erskine and moved to 4-2-3 in Conference Carolinas matches.
- Santi Balza, Gray Smith, and Owen Smith had two shots on goal apiece for the Bobcats. Robbins and Watts registered one shot on target each.
- Sean Green collected the shutout in his first start of the season and picked up one save in goal.
FOR THE FLYING FLEET:
- Boomershine made six stops in goal for Erskine. Leon Bird had the lone shot on target for the Flying Fleet.
