SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's cross country student-athletes
Campbell Dille and
Megan Knapp collected All-Conference Carolinas First and Third Team selections as the Bobcats posted a fifth-place finish at the 2024 Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships.
THE BASICS
WOMEN'S RESULTS: 5th of 13 Teams
MEET: Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships
NOTABLES:
- Dille paced the Bobcats with an individual finish of fifth and the fifth-fastest time in program history in the 6K distance. Dille earned All-Conference Carolinas First Team with the individual finish.
- Knapp placed 15th in Saturday's race with a time of 23:40.5 and garnered All-Conference Carolinas Third Team honors.
- Kaylee Kraver stopped the clock in a time of 24:57.3 and placed 32nd. Maya Gantt finished in a time of 26:33.1 and placed 52nd. Taylor Marshall was the final scored run for the Bobcats in a time of 26:45.1.
- Natalia Everhart finished the championship race with a time of 27:20.2 and Rebecca Kleiber followed closely with a time of 27:22.1.
- As a team, Lees-McRae placed fifth with 137 total points. North Greenville captured the league title with 43 points. Converse, UNC Pembroke, King, and Lees-McRae rounded out the top five, respectively.
