SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Lees-McRae women's cross country traveled to the Milliken Research Park for the third time this season. The Bobcats placed 15th out of 30 teams and
Campbell Dille collected the seventh-fastest time in program history in the 6K distance.
THE BASICS
WOMEN'S RESULTS: 15th of 30 Teams
MEET: NCAA Division II Southeast Region Championships
NOTABLES:
- Dille crossed the finish line in 33rd place with a time of 23:01.5 for the Bobcats. Dille now holds three of the top-ten times in school history in the 6K distance.
- Megan Knapp followed Dille in 41st place with a time of 23:17.0 and Kaylee Kraver stopped the clock in 25:12.9.
- Taylor Marshall finished the 6K course in a time of 26:24.8 and Natalie Everhart recorded a time of 27:10.9. Rebecca Kleiber rounded out the Bobcats in a time of 27:34.4.
- Wingate was crowned the team champion with 33 total points. Lees-McRae finished in 15th place with 404 points.
- Flagler's Taylor Stone earned the individual region championship with a time of 21:04.5.
