DJ Kent combined for 35 points in today's 71-59 loss at Young Harris for Lees-McRae men's basketball.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Young Harris used an 8-0 run in the middle of the first half for the 21-10 lead and held the nine-point advantage at the halftime break over the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae got within five points after a layup from Nico Ashley with 14:32 remaining in the contest, but Young Harris earned the 71-59 win in its Conference Carolinas home opener on Saturday.
- Florence recorded a team-high 13 points on 6-18 shooting and collected seven rebounds. Brown and Kent followed with 11 points apiece for the Bobcats.
FOR THE MOUNTAIN LIONS:
- Carl Cleveland paced Young Harris with a game-high 17 points on 6-13 shooting. Matija Millivojevic followed with 14 points in 17 minutes off the bench and Kennedy Willis had 12 points on efficient 5-6 from the field.
