BROWNS SUMMIT, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's soccer moved its unbeaten streak to 12 matches today with a 2-0 win over Barton at Bryan Park. The Bobcats earned the No. 1 seed heading into the Conference Carolinas Women's Soccer Tournament and will play on Friday, November 15.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Addy Geiss collected a shot in the fourth minute of today's match, but Barton's Taylor Primack made the stop.
- Abbey Brosnihan gave Lees-McRae the 1-0 lead after heading in a terrific ball from Gwen O'Brien off a corner kick in the 12th minute.
- The Bobcats took the one-goal advantage into the halftime break in their regular-season finale.
- Barton's Avery Vorholt had a quality chance in the 53rd minute, but Bobcat goalkeeper Chiara Coppin made the stop and collected another save two minutes off of Vorholt's shot once again.
- Morgan Anderson scored her first goal of the season off a rebound in the 83rd minute after Kylie Gutierrez's shot was saved.
- Kalee Wiltshire had one more opportunity for the Bobcats in the 89th minute, but a Barton defender cleared the ball off the goal line. Lees-McRae collected the 2-0 victory over Barton and concluded league play at 9-0-3.
- Anderson and Brosnihan each tallied a goal for the Bobcats and C. Coppin registered her league-leading 11th clean sheet of the season in goal.
FOR THE BULLDOGS:
- Vorholt led Barton with two shots on goal and Lexis Goldberg and Gianna Ferigne had a shot on target also.
- Taylor Primack made three stops in goal for Barton and one team save was collected in today's contest.
