CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball sophomore Outside Hitter
Nicole Osborne matched her career high in kills with 11 on Friday evening, but the Bobcats fell to Shorter in four sets in Conference Carolinas action.

FINAL SCORE: Shorter def. Lees-McRae, 3-1 (25-10, 25-22, 23-25, 25-17)

RECORDS: Shorter (14-13/9-7), Lees-McRae (10-16/2-13
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae forced a fourth set after earning the third stanza at 25-23. The Bobcats held Shorter to -.056 in the third set. The Hawks took the match in four after collecting the fourth set at 25-17.
- Osborne had a team-high 11 kills on a .304 hitting percentage in four sets played and nearly had a double-double with nine digs and two service aces.
- Destiny Holley and Sydney Stigler followed with nine kills apiece. Stigler recorded six digs in the match.
- Addyson Morgan and Ella Young distributed 12 assists apiece. Morgan registered nine digs in the contest for the Bobcats.
FOR THE HAWKS:
- Caroline Sivills and Victoria Sparks paced Shorter with 12 kills apiece on Friday evening. Sparks added seven digs in the contest.
- Brielle Wood had 17 assists and Marysa Ocampo followed with 12 assists for the Hawks. Claudia Loyola tallied a match-high 16 digs.
