RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Lees-McRae women's soccer graduate student Goalkeeper
Chiara Coppin has been recognized to the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) All-America First Team today.
C. Coppin is the first Bobcat since 2009 to earn All-America status. Vickie Rich was recognized as Daktronics Third Team All-America in 2009.
In 2024, Coppin ranked second in goals-against average in the nation and third in save percentage. Coppin also finished the season with the fourth-most shutouts in Division II with 12.
Coppin joins fellow Conference Carolinas student-athletes Anna Grosheim, UNC Pembroke, and Francis Marion's Kristina Syragakis on the first-team honors.
The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education.
