Austin Beaird and
Ben Fincham collected 11 kills apiece, but Lees-McRae men's volleyball dropped a four-set match to Emmanuel on Saturday afternoon.

FINAL SCORE: Emmanuel def. Lees-McRae, 3-1 (25-18, 25-27, 25-16, 25-19)

RECORDS: Emmanuel (4-8/2-2), Lees-McRae (1-10/0-4)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Emmanuel used a five-point run at 18-14 to seize the opening set at 25-18.
- The Bobcats bounced back in the second set after tying the set score at 23-23 via a kill from M.J. Doyle. Lees-McRae held off a set point from the Lions and used back-to-back kills from Erel Bardah for the set win.
- Emmanuel answered with a third-set win at 25-16 and closed the match in four sets after taking the set at 25-19.
- Lees-McRae had .218 hitting percentage to Emmanuel's .371. The Bobcats hit an impressive .438 in the second set with 18 kills.
- Beaird and B. Fincham led the Bobcats with 11 kills apiece. Doyle followed with 10 kills on 25 swings. Abdirahman Ahmed tallied 42 assists in four sets for Lees-McRae.
- B. Fincham narrowly missed a double-double with nine digs and Ben Ratliff-Becher had six digs in four sets played.
FOR THE LIONS:
- Eli Zdonek had a match-high 20 kills on a .469 hitting percentage to lead Emmanuel in the four-set victory. Aiden Feeney joined in double-digit kills with 12.
- Abdallah Roshdy distributed 45 assists and added six blocks in the match. Nicklas Eichenberger had 13 digs and four assists for the Lions.
