BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis picked up its second consecutive victory of the season with a 4-3 win over Union on Wednesday.
Ezequiel Arce clinched the match for the Bobcats at No. 3 singles in three sets.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Max Borisov and Cole Gibson opened the day with a convincing 6-1 victory at the No. 2 doubles for the Bobcats. Andrew Kunaka and Andy Tallafigo earned the doubles point for Lees-McRae with a 7-5 victory at No. 1 doubles.
- Hudson Hoskins and Arce collected the sweep for the Bobcats with a dominant 6-2 win at No. 3 doubles position.
- Kunaka tallied a 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 2 singles to put Lees-McRae up 2-0 in the team match. Borisov followed with a three-set victory at No. 1 singles at 6-1, 2-6, 6-2.
- After dropping the first set at 6-2, Arce battled back to win the match in three sets over Union's Nicolo Chiriatti at 2-6, 6-2, 6-0.
- Union took the final three matches of the day for the 4-3 decision in favor of Lees-McRae. Tallafigo forced a third-set tiebreaker after taking the second set at 7-5.
