BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis got back in the win column today with an impressive 5-2 win over Northwood.
Hudson Hoskins clinched the match for the Bobcats with a straight-set victory at No. 6 singles.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Lees-McRae took the doubles point with victories at No. 1 and 2 doubles. Andrew Kunaka and Andy Tallafigo earned the 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles and Max Borisov and Cole Gibson closed with a 7-6 (3) win for the Bobcats.
- Kunaka delivered the second point for Lees-McRae with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Northwood's Kuzma Zubrii.
- Borisov pushed the Bobcats to a 3-1 advantage after defeating Max Wild 6-4 7-6 (4) at No. 1 singles.
- Hoskins earned the dual win for Lees-McRae with a 6-3, 6-2 win at No. 6 singles and Tallafigo collected the fifth point with a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 4 singles.

Lees-McRae continues the homestand on Friday, March 15 with a regional matchup against Lenoir-Rhyne. The match in Banner Elk is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.
