BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis held a 3-0 advantage after taking the doubles point and No. 1 and 2 singles, but Young Harris recorded the 4-3 win on Monday afternoon in Conference Carolinas action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- On a windy Monday afternoon, Lees-McRae started the day with the doubles point after wins on courts one and two. Andrew Kunaka and Andy Tallafigo collected the 6-4 win at No. 2 doubles and Max Borisov and Cole Gibson clinched the point with a 6-4 win at No. 1 doubles.
- Borisov notched the second point of the day for Lees-McRae with an impressive 6-1, 6-4 win over Young Harris' Jame Bixby.
- After dropping the first set, Kunaka rallied for a three-set win at No. 2 singles, 3-6, 6-0, 6-2.
- Ezequiel Arce forced a third set at No. 3 singles, but ultimately fell to Mountain Lion Caleb McCurry in three sets, 5-7, 7-5, 4-6.
- The Mountain Lions used wins at No. 4, 5, and 6 singles to claim the 4-3 victory in Banner Elk on Monday afternoon
