BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's basketball heads to Spartanburg, South Carolina for Quarterfinals action with No. 3 Chowan on Friday, March 8 at 1:30 p.m. in the 2024 Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship.

The Series
The Bobcats and Hawks will face off for the 12th time in the all-time series since 2007 with Chowan holding the 7-4 lead in the series. Chowan earned the 92-73 win in Murfreesboro on Feb. 24, 2024.
Lees-McRae enters the Atlantic Casualty Conference Carolinas Men's Basketball Championship Quarterfinals after defeating North Greenville, 79-75, on Monday night in Banner Elk.
Ja'Quavian Florence paced the Bobcats with 20 points and
Nico Ashley had the fourth-most blocks in a single game this season in NCAA Division II with nine.
Last Time Out
The 19 wins for Lees-McRae this season is the most in program history since 2017-18 when the Bobcats recorded 23 wins. The Bobcats concluded the 2017-2018 season with the Conference Carolinas Tournament title on the McNair & Debi Tornow Court.
Scouting Chowan
Chowan enters postseason play as the No. 3 seed after ending the regular season with six consecutive wins. The Hawks knocked off No. 20 UNC Pembroke, 82-75, on Feb. 28 in Pembroke, North Carolina in their regular-season finale. Daylan Askew guided Chowan in the overtime victory with 19 points and RJ Wilson collected a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.
