Max Borisov picked up victories in their respective singles matches, but Lees-McRae men's tennis fell to Francis Marion, 5-2, on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Patriots earned the doubles point with a sweep of the doubles matches. Borisov and Andrew Kunaka narrowly fell in a tiebreaker, 7-6 (4), at No. 1 doubles. Arce and Andy Tallafigo also faced a tiebreaker at No. 2 doubles, but the Patriots earned the win at 7-6 (4).
- Francis Marion picked up victories at No. 2 and 5 singles for the 3-0 lead. Borisov got the Bobcats on the board with a 7-5, 7-6 (9) over Martin Barbera at No. 1 singles.
- Arce collected a win in three sets after Patriot Leonel Gonzalez forced a third set, but Arce battled for the 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
