BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's lacrosse headed to Mount Olive on Saturday afternoon and fell to the No. 25 Trojans. 28-2, in Conference Carolinas play.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Korovich opened the scoring in the contest with 12:41 left in the first quarter off an assist from Mckenzie Mellen. Mount Olive used a seven-goal scoring run for the 7-1 advantage.
- Castro added the final goal of the first quarter as the Bobcats trailed 7-2.
- Mount Olive recorded the 28-2 win on their home field with 12 more goals in the second half.
- Castro and Korovich tallied the goals for the Bobcats and Mellen added the assist on the day. Castro and Mellen also registered three draw controls in the contest.
FOR THE TROJANS:
- Lena DeFilippo had a game-high five goals to lead Mount Olive. Logan Hibbard collected four goals and three Trojans provided three goals each in the game.
