BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis tallied its first Conference Carolinas win of the season with a 5-2 victory over "Battle for the Blue Ridge Cup" foe King on Wednesday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Max Borisov and Andrew Kunaka secured the doubles point for the Bobcats with a 6-3 decision at No. 1 doubles.
- Cole Gibson dispatched his opponent at No. 5 singles, 6-2, 6-0 to give Lees-McRae the 2-0 advantage.
- Andy Tallafigo followed shortly after Gibson's win with a 6-3, 6-0 victory against Mat Vieira at the No. 4 court.
- Borisov went to three sets at No. 1 singles against Rhys Halcrow, but Borisov tallied the 6-1, 3-6, 6-1 win for the team victory for the Bobcats.
- The Tornado collected wins at No. 2 and 3 singles on the day.
