SUMTER, S.C. – Lees-McRae men's tennis fell to Barton, 4-0, in the first round of the Conference Carolinas Men's Tennis Championship at the Palmetto Tennis Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Barton used a pair of 6-1 victories at No. 2 and 3 doubles for the match's first point. Max Borisov and Andrew Kunaka trailed 4-3 at No. 1 doubles before the other courts finished.
- The Bulldogs secured the match with three singles wins at No. 4, 5, and 6 this morning.
- Ezequiel Arce and Kunaka led in the third set of their respective matches, but their contests were halted. Borisov trailed 5-7, 3-4 at No. 1 singles.
- Barton now faces No. 4 Mount Olive this afternoon at the Palmetto Tennis Center in the quarterfinal round.
