Ezra Carpenter scored in the 89th minute as Lees-McRae women's soccer collected the 1-0 win over Converse on Senior Day. The Bobcats recognized six seniors prior to today's contest.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Converse's Jasmine Hernandez had the first shot on target in the seventh minute and Samantha Novik followed in the 13th minute, but Laura Walker made both saves.
- Walker made her third stop of the first half off a shot via Sam Quillen in the 17th minute. The two sides entered halftime tied at 0-0.
- Aubrey Tansey had the first shot on goal in the 79th minute, but Valkyrie Julia Salo made the save.
- Carpenter scored the match-winning goal off a miscue by the Converse goalkeeper in the 89th minute.
- Laura Walker earned a clean sheet for the Bobcats with three saves on the day.
- Sarah Jones, Emma Shropshire, Abbey Brosnihan, Hailie Klinger, Brooke Allen, and Crystal Johnson were all recognized during Senior Day this afternoon.
