BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball recorded 45 kills in the three-set Conference Carolinas sweep over Belmont Abbey on Tuesday evening.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. Belmont Abbey, 3-0 (25-20, 25-20, 25-22)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (6-12/6-5); Belmont Abbey (8-10/4-7)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bobcats jumped out to a 15-11 lead in the first set and Addi Stables earned the set at 25-20 with a kill.
- Lees-McRae had a .278 hitting percentage in the second set for a similar scoreline at 25-20. Sydney Stigler collected the kill at 25-20 for the 2-0 set advantage.
- The Bobcats built a four-point margin at 11-7, but Belmont Abbey tied the set at 11-11. Lees-McRae led 19-15 and held off a late Crusader rally for the 25-22 set win.
- Stables and Stigler led the Bobcats with 11 kills apiece. Stigler recorded a double-double with 12 digs. Clara Duarte joined them with double-digit kills with 10 on a .381 hitting percentage.
- Iza Rosin distributed 30 assists in three sets and Lauren Newcomer had a team-high 13 digs for the Bobcats.
