BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball hosted Division I opponent Gardner-Webb on Tuesday evening and the Runnin' Bulldogs defeated the Bobcats in three sets. 
Sydney Stigler led the Bobcats with 16 kills and nine digs.

FINAL SCORE: Gardner-Webb def. Lees-McRae, 3-0 (25-21, 25-22, 25-17)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (10-15/9-6); Gardner-Webb (11-15/2-7))
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:
	- Lees-McRae held the 15-14 advantage in the first set after an attack error from Gardner-Webb. GW earned the set with back-to-back attack errors from the Bobcats at 25-21.
- The Runnin' Bulldogs earned the second set at 25-23 after holding off the Bobcats in a late rally. Gardner-Webb took the match in three sets with a 25-17 win in the third set.
- Stigler had a match-high 16 kills on a .260 hitting percentage and added nine digs on the evening. Karoline Springman followed with 12 kills and eight digs. Clara Duarte had eight digs and one block.
- Iza Rosin distributed 34 assists in three sets and recorded a double-double with 10 digs. Brooke Ashkenase had 12 digs in tonight's contest.
