BANNER ELK, N.C. – Lees-McRae women's volleyball earned the five-set win over UNC Pembroke in Conference Carolinas play on Senior Day this afternoon.

FINAL SCORE: Lees-McRae def. UNC Pembroke, 3-2 (25-23, 26-28, 22-25, 26-24, 15-8)

RECORDS: Lees-McRae (4-11/4-4); UNC Pembroke (8-6/5-1)
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Sydney Stigler had a career-high 27 kills and 10 digs on Saturday afternoon to lead the Bobcats to a five-set win over UNCP. Addi Stables collected 24 kills on a .321 hitting percentage for the Bobcats.
- Lees-McRae took a 16-15 lead in the first set off a 4-0 scoring. Stigler capped the set with a kill at 25-23.
- UNCP took the 2-1 set lead with set victories at 28-26 in the second set and 25-22 in the third set.
- Lees-McRae bounced back in the fourth set and led 24-20. Stables earned the set victory at 26-24.
- The Bobcats continued the momentum in the fifth set with a 5-0 run. Clara Duarte finished the match with a kill off an assist from fellow senior Addyson Morgan at 15-8.
- Duarte followed Stables and Stigler with 12 kills and four total blocks.
- Iza Rosin had a career day with 60 assists and added 23 digs in five sets. Lauren Newcomer and Brooke Ashkenase had double-digit kills with 22 and 12 digs, respectively.
